What is moreganic?

We're Moreganic
A certification for building a future where agriculture restores biodiversity, supports local communities, and creates lasting value for everyone involved. We do this by working with nature — through diverse crops, healthy soils, and fewer synthetic inputs — helping forests thrive for the long term.
Our mission is simple: to grow goods, from latex to honey, in a way that’s fair, sustainable, and good for our planet.
-
Global standard for sustainable agricultural practices
-
For all supply chain participants (farmers, growers, …)
-
Enhancing farm resiliency with biodiversity action plan
-
Partner license model
-
Verified chain-of-custody
The three E’s
Agriculture stands at a turning point. Climate stress, shifting markets and social pressure demand more than business as usual. The Moreganic Universal Framework offers a clear direction — grow better, not just more. It’s our very own strategic model for sustainable sourcing, built on three essential E’s: ecological integrity, ethical responsibility, and economic viability.
Ecological Integrity
Promoting practices that sustain and restore the natural environment while addressing global environmental challenges.
Environmental Protection
Safeguarding soil, water, and air through pollution reduction, degradation prevention, and enhanced ecological functions.
Biodiversity Enhancement
Onserving and promoting diverse ecosystems, ensuring coexistence between agriculture and native flora and fauna.
Ethical Responsibility
Ensuring the well-being of people, animals, and communities through fair, humane, and inclusive practices.
Social Well-being
Upholding health, safety, and rights for all workers in agricultural operations, ensuring equitable treatment and opportunities.
Animal Welfare
Committing to the humane treatment of animals, their care, comfort, and ability to express natural behaviors.
Community Development
Supporting local infrastructure, education, and economic growth, fostering agriculture as a positive force for change.
Economic Viability
Creating resilient, equitable, and financially sustainable agricultural systems.
Fair Trade
Providing fair and premium pricing, transparent transactions, and equitable income distribution for farmers and stakeholders.
Transparency and Traceability
Maintaining open communication and clear chain-of-custody systems to build trust and accountability.
Long-term Sustainability
Encouraging financially viable and environmentally sound farming practices to ensure resilience against market and climate fluctuations.
